Assistant Director, Grounds and Maintenance
Newfound Area School District has an opportunity for an Assistant Director of Grounds and Maintenance reporting to the District's Facility Director.
This is a district-wide full-time, year-round position with benefits.
Responsibilities include:
Facilities and grounds repairs, maintenance, and other work as required.
Perform maintenance and repairs to buildings, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.
Mow and maintain all district lawns, grounds, athletic fields, and campuses as directed.
Supervise and manage subcontractors as needed.
Perform safety and maintenance inspections as needed.
Utilize computer software systems for job scheduling, work order management, and job
assigning.
Perform all aspects of snow removal, including shoveling, sanding, salting, snow
blowing, plowing, often times outside of normal business hours.
Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, custodial work, as needed.
Be available for after-hours events and emergency repairs/maintenance, participate in
after-hours on-call response.
Assist Facilities Director with administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry,
accounts payable, time sheets, payroll, email communications, scheduling, and more.
Cover other departments as needed.
Act as Facilities Director in their absence.
Help manage a diverse group of employees effectively, ensuring coverage on all
workdays.
Perform all other necessary duties as assigned by Facilities Director.
Minimum Requirements include:
Must possess a valid unrestricted driver's license
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, Associates or Bachelor degree preferred.
Three (3) years minimum experience preferred
Ability to safely operate many types of equipment, including mowers, leaf blowers, tractors, chain saws, dump trucks, snowplow equipment,
snow blowers, weed whackers, rakes, shovels, watering systems, and more.
Must be able and willing to work outside in extreme weather conditions, year-round.
Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
All employees are subject to passing a background check.

Site Coordinator
Project Promise is seeking a motivated and organized Sites Coordinator to support our afterschool programs at multiple school sites.
Start Date: August 17, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM–5:30 PM
Location: Onsite at multiple school sites
Reports To: Director of Project Promise
Complete enrichment plans and required program paperwork.
Assist with opening and daily operations at assigned sites.
Maintain student attendance and academic progress records.
Update program communications, calendars, and Google Classrooms.
Support students in a positive, safe, and engaging environment.
Collaborate with families, school staff, and community partners.
Supervise and support program staff.
Attend required meetings and professional development training.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience working with children and families.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
