Building Committee

The Newfound Area School Board is creating a Building Committee and seeking community members to join.

The Building Committee will provide oversight to the design team charged with providing building design alternates to meet the needs of our students.

The Building Committee shall consist of not less than five or more than ten members. The board intends that the members will serve the duration of the Project.

Representation on the Building Committee should include people with the following skills/roles:

  • Building/construction trade

  • Facilities Director

  • School Board Member

  • Business Administrator

  • Parents

  • Town Officials

  • Facilities Committee Member

  • Teacher

The duties of the committee members are to provide oversight to the design team charged with providing building design alternates to meet the needs of our students.

The Building Committee shall meet monthly and on an as-needed basis in cooperation with the architect, contractors, etc.
