Technology Support Specialist

The scenic Newfound Area School District is seeking a Support Specialist technician to fill an immediate vacancy. A high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively with administrators and teachers. Ability to work independently and with others in a wide variety of circumstances. This is a 12-month position, Monday through Friday. Under the supervision of the Technology Directory, the technician will support the goals of the technology department by maintaining systems, peripherals, and applications. The technician will support users through multiple channels and create training opportunities when requested.  Applicant must possess two years of experience supporting Windows and Chrome-based systems in a networked environment. Experience with laptops and desktops, Google Workspace, Chromebooks, various Apple and Handheld Devices, applications, installation, and configuration of software and peripherals. Relevant certifications and familiarity with such an environment are a plus

The Newfound Area School District is seeking its next Business Administrator to oversee district functions and operations of budgeting, facilities, food service, and transportation with a July 1 start date.

Executive Assistant
Newfound Area School District is looking for an Executive Assistant to work directly with administrators in the superintendent's office starting July 1, 2024. The candidate should have excellent customer service skills, proficient computer skills, be organized and detail-oriented, experience with database systems, and the ability to represent the District positively and professionally.

Curriculum Administrator

Newfound Area School District is seeking a Curriculum Administrator to provide oversight and support for the implementation of a PK-12 curriculum. This is a year round position starting July 1, 2024. The successful candidate will have the ability to:

Work with district staff to align all curriculum with standards; support the implementation of all district and state assessments; assist the district with a PK-12 competency-based model; manage Federal Grants including Title IIA, and Title IV. This person will also need to effectively communicate with multiple levels of Stakeholders and support district initiatives for professional development directed toward the goals of the District Strategic Plan.

The employee will work with an elementary student with cerebral palsy that needs medical care due to  aspiration into airway, swallowing impairment and hypotonia. This student needs a nurse on the bus for pick up and drop off. The hours are from 8:00 am - 2:30 pm.

Newfound Memorial Middle School seeks a long-term substitute to cover Physical Education classes.

The candidate position is available immediately and could extend through the end of the school year.

Newfound After School Program

Project Promise is hiring a Floating Substitute to cover any site in the after-school program. Job duties include but are not limited to homework, reading help, supervision of students, facilitating enrichment activities and clean up. Hours are M-F from 2-5:30. The Director of Project Promise would be in contact daily to let you know what site is in need daily. 

Project Promise is hiring Homework/Enrichment Help for BHVS & NMMS in the after-school program. Job duties include but are not limited to homework, reading help, supervision of students, facilitating enrichment activities and clean up. Hours vary by school, and pay is based on experience.
